Scent Doodles: The Art of Unfinished Fragrance
Some perfumes are made to be perfect.
Others are made to be honest.
Scent Doodles exist somewhere in between.

What Is a Scent Doodle?
A scent doodle is our version of a sketch.
In visual art, a sketch isn’t meant to be polished or final, it’s a space to explore, experiment, and follow instinct without pressure. Scent doodles work the same way.
They are:
- unfiltered ideas
- spontaneous compositions
- fragments of something that may never be recreated
Unlike our core collections from KST SCENT and d.grayi, these are not developed for mass production or consistency.
They exist simply because they were made.
Why We Create Them
Perfumery can become structured; formulas, revisions, market expectations.
Scent doodles are how we break away from that.
They allow us to:
- explore ideas without commercial pressure
- test unusual combinations
- capture moments of inspiration before they disappear
Sometimes they become something more.
Most of the time, they don’t.
And that’s the point.
The Blind Box Experience
To celebrate our journey in perfumery, we’ve chosen to release these scent doodles in a different way:
Each order receives:
- 1 randomly selected scent doodle
- chosen from a limited set of experimental creations
You won’t know which one you’ll get.
And no two experiences are exactly the same.
One-Time Creations
Scent doodles are:
- unrevised
- unreproduced
- unrepeatable
Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
They are not reformulated, restocked, or re-released in the same way.
This makes each one closer to a moment in time than a product.
What They Might Smell Like
Because they’re experimental, scent doodles vary.
Our blind boxes(we named them Scent of the Reaping) are inspired by the book Sunrise on The Reaping by Suzanne Collins words, with each scent created as an intuitive interpretation of its atmosphere as we go.
Why We Share Them
Most experiments stay behind the scenes.
But scent doodles felt different. It's a way to use up materials we don't plan to repurchase and create stories that may not fit our usual style.
They reflect:
- the process behind our perfumes
- the unfinished ideas
- the freedom to create without rules
Sharing them is a way of inviting you into that process of perfumery that is seldom experienced/
